July 31, 2022 Scripture of the Week

Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained;

But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God]. Proverbs 29:18 (AMP)

We are in week number 31 of this year. Each Sunday, I will post a new Scripture of the week on the website. All 52 Scriptures for the year are listed at the end of my “Kingdom Strong” book. The purpose for including them in the book was to focus weekly on building various aspects of Kingdom strength and to give you a Scripture for the week to study, meditate on and memorize. Here are some questions to ask yourself as you dig deeper into each week’s Scripture:

· What truth is it conveying?

· How can you apply it to your life?

· What stands out to you about it?

What is the vision for your life? Proverbs 29:18 (AMP) lets us know that the vision needs to come from God. We need to have a revelation from God for our lives and it will line up with His Word. When we have that, we can focus on what God has assigned us to do, which empowers us to avoid the distractions of the enemy’s counterfeit. We will be restrained (or focused) according to God’s vision for us and only do what lines up with it and moves us towards that goal.

If you do not know God’s vision for your life, get it from His Word. In the Bible, God says we were fearfully and wonderfully made. We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. We are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, lenders and not borrowers. When we know God’s vision for our lives; have a personal revelation of God, who we are in God, what He said we can do, what He has already provided for us; and live in alignment with those truths, we will truly live happy and blessed lives.

All this week, study, meditate on, and memorize Proverbs 29:18 (AMP). Allow God to reveal what He wants to say to you regarding it. Expect Him to reveal and expand His vision for you. Write down what God says. He has great things in store for you. It is time to go to the next level in God with His vision and His revelation for your life. With the 21 weeks that we have left in the year, let’s intentionally live in the vision and revelation of God.
